The BIM-based construction engineering file archived management system was verified the national software copyright (registration number: 2016SR123940). The system stores the BIM model attributes and various attachments in the relevant format files, and provides various functions including categorization, searching, and statistical analysis. It is a tool, which can query, edit, and analysis conveniently, for the operation and maintenance personnel to query information, modify status, trace history, and view document attachment information of equipment, achieving the efficient use and management for massive document information.

Xiaoyang Zhang, the second master student under my supervision, has successfully passed thesis defense entitled "BIM-Based Analysis and Management System for Safety Performance of Time-dependent Structures" in the Department of Civil Engineering of Tsinghua University. His research aims at carrying out automatic structural analysis during construction. Based on the newly developments in Building Information Model (BIM) and 4D technology, a 4D Safety Information Model++ (4DSIM++) is proposed and established for architecture design, structural analysis and construction management. Based on the 4DSIM++, the approach and mechanism are proposed to achieve the model conversion between architecture and structure model automatically and relative analysis among structure analysis models. Then the integrated technologies are discussed on architecture and structure model and different kinds of monitoring data dynamically. Based on this information model, the application workflow and a series of methods for dynamic safety analysis and management are detailed discussed. Finally, a BIM-based Safety Analysis and Management System (BIM-SAMS) for time-dependent structure during construction is developed and the feasibility and effectiveness of the system are verified by real project applications.
