The First Phase Acceptance Check Meeting and the Second Phase Launching Meeting of "BIM Joint Research Centre of Tsinghua University (School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering) and Glodon Software Company Limited" were held in Glodon Phase II Building on September 13th, 2017. The directors and undertakers of the project respectively reported the research achievements of 13 scientific research projects (including 5 fundamental research projects, 7 system development projects, and 1 industrialization project) in the last three years. The research team reported three research achievements on "BIM-based Facility Management system during Operation and Maintenance", "BIM-Based Analysis and Management System for Safety Performance of Time-Varying Structures" and "Research and Development on Knowledge Engine for BIM". Based on the discussion and cooperation on the first cooperative mode and contents, the second phased works of BIM Joint Research Centre were agreed to start. More than 30 people including Zhizhong Diao, Zhenggang Yuan, Jianfeng Guo, Gang Liu, the board chairman, president, vice-president and dean of Glodon Software Co., Ltd. respectively, and Jianping Zhang, Dongping Fang, Zhiliang Ma, Hongling Guo, and Nan Li, professor and associate professor from Tsinghua University and other project principals attended the meeting.

The National Natural Science Foundation Projects for 2017 were announced officially. It was my honor that the General Program proposal "Research on Multi-scale Performance Simulation and Analysis Technologies of Existing Buildings and Complex under Information Drive" is approved. This research will propose a multi-scale O&M model for the multi-scale analysis need to make massive data integrated effectively based on hybrid cloud architecture, which is based on the information in O&M phase of existing buildings, the motivation based on BIM and AI, and the deep researches on system performance analysis of existing buildings. Based on these researches, the multi-scale performance simulation and analysis system for large-scale complex public buildings is going to be further studied to achieve the performance analysis and forecast for buildings in O&M phase, by the integration of technologies, systems and applications based on the information fusion mechanism of internal and external environment scale.
