The research team reported the progress of the sub-project "A light-weight platform framework and interface technology based on GIS/BIM". The sub-project belongs to the 13th 5-year project "Key technologies for design and construction of rural residentials" - "Application information platform for design and construction of rural residentials". In the past year, we established the framework and basic workflow for data process, studied the fusion and exchange technologies based on BIM/GIS, and developed a web-based GIS/BIM model visualization platform. The key contributions include proposing a web-based data fusion and visualization schema for BIM/GIS model, and support the dispersal behavior analysis of contaminants at the pedestrian level under wind environment.

A new product named "AHK Spotlight" has been added to "Product" section. Welcome to download and test it.

This product was developed by Dr. Jia-Rui Lin, one of our research group members, who is now an assistant research professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University. The objective of this toolkit is to improve the effects of online teaching. The toolkit was developed based on the AutoHotKey (AHK), by which the Spotlight function as Logitech provided can be simulated. For example, it can simulate the high light effect like a spotlight in real life, so as to emphasize the key contents in the PPT.
