Our new article paper entitled "Development and Application of GIS-based Lightweight Operation and Maintenance Management Platform for Large Public Buildings" has been published in the Journal of Graphics. This study presents an application method of lightweight O&M management platform for large-scale public buildings based on GIS. This paper presents an approach to convert drawings of large-scale public buildings are converted into map services. Then attribute data are summarized to form hierarchical structures, and unique identifiers are given to establish standard attribute libraries. Based on these libraries, O&M management processes are reviewed to form standard O&M management procedures and data flows. A lightweight O&M management platform is developed, which realizes the information management of the terminal of Kunming Changshui international airport.

The research team has published a paper entitled "A Review on 3D Spatial Data Analytics for Building Information Models" in "Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering", which is an international high-level journal in engineering technology industry. This study reviews state-of-the-art of related research and provides a summary of achievements and challenges in this area. Then, a framework consists of management, analysis, and application of 3D spatial data of BIM and a detailed discussion of each part are proposed, which would give the readers an overview of relevant methods, technologies, and tools. Moreover, potential research directions and open issues for future work are also discussed. The paper enables researchers to get a comprehensive understanding of 3D spatial data analytics of BIM as well as suggestions for future work, and thus makes a solid contribution in this area.

End up with the 6-month visiting to Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, US. I'd like to express my gratitude to the reception from the cooperative tutor Burcu Akinci. Though time was short, I learned the sectific research and teaching methods in well-known American universities, practiced the opportunities of interdisciplinary subjects, and expericed the American culture life by making friends. I will start a new journey with infinite encourage and motivation in the future. Wish my colleagues and friends in US will be better and have bright futures!
