Zhenzhong Hu

    He received both his BE and PhD degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University, China. He was a visiting researcher in Carnegie Mellon University.
    He is now the associate professor in Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, and also the secretary general of the BIM Specialty Committee of the China Graphics Society.
    His research interests include information technologies in civil and marine engineering, building information modeling (BIM) and digital disaster prevention and mitigation.

    Skibniewski, professor of University of Maryland and chief editor of "Automation in Construction", and Petzold, professor of Technische Universität München, and Zhiliang Ma, professor of Tsinghua University visited DMP Greater Bay Area Industry Exhibition, which was held in SZCEC, Shenzhen, with the accompany of two engineers, Siyuan Zhao and Sixuan Huang from the China Construction Steel Structure Corp. LTD., and me in the afternoon of November 28th. The exhibition mainly focuses on the latest products on mechanical manufacturing industry, industrial robots and Industrial Internet.

    Mr. Yang Wang and Mr. Zhipeng Wen, board chairman and general manager assistant of T.Y. Lin (Chongqing) International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. visited the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, and discussed with the research team on the application and future orientations on engineering consultation for the lifecycle in the morning of November 28th. T.Y Lin (Chongqing) International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. is a branch of the international famous engineering consultation DAR GROUP and has the international experiences and rich resources on large engineering projects over the world. It also has the advantages in the urban infrastructure and architecture industries, intently providing services in engineering consultation and supervision, and project management in the lifecycle.

    In order to promote the development on the engineering in China, supported by the China Graphics Society, the Fifth National BIM Academic Conference and The Sixth Specialty Committee Annual Conference were held by the BIM Specialty Committee of China Graphic Society from November 16th to 17th, 2019. This conference was organized by CMIG Drawin Technology Group Limited, co-sponorsed by BIM Joint Research Centre of Tsinghua University (School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering) and Glodon Software Company Limited and Prefabricated Construction Committee of Changsha City Real estate industry Association. Over 500 people including students and teachers in multiple provinces and cities, as well as leaders, chief engineers, and BIM technicians from construction companies attended the conference. As the secretary-general of the BIM Special Committee, I hosted the opening ceremony and keynote speeches in the first morning.

    The "National BIM Techniques Level Examination Sets", co-authored by me, has been published officially. This book, including the first to the twelfth National BIM Techniques Level Examinations and the answers, was regarded as the BIM technical training materials and the reference books for BIM-based relevant classes in civil engineering of colleges or universities. It can also be the guidance for engineers and technicians to learn BIM technologies by themselves.

    Our CPC branch, Life and Health branch of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School visited the site of the Zunyi Meeting to experience the great deeds of revolutionary martyrs. The members were greatly impressed by the Party spirit in those difficult times and kept the origin mission in mind to make our country greater and people live better. With the help of the Communist International of Soviet Union, the Soviet Union actually took the military power in the Sixth Session of the Fourth Central Committee of CPC, 1931. Zedong Mao was robbed the military leadership and the military strategy was abandoned after that. The central committee of the CPC and the Central Red Army were Eliminated by Kuomintang army at the Fifth Counter-Campaign against "Encirclement and Suppression" in the Central Soviet Area in the mid of October, 1934. The First Route Army of the Red Army Occupated Zunyi, Guizhou and had the well-known Zunyi Meeting from January 15th to 17th. As the vital turning point in the history of CPC, this meeting independently corrected the amiss leadership, and established the leadership for Zedong Mao in the Red Army and CPC. It was a mature symbol in politics for CPC.
