Zhenzhong Hu

    He received both his BE and PhD degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University, China. He was a visiting researcher in Carnegie Mellon University.
    He is now the associate professor in Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, and also the secretary general of the BIM Specialty Committee of the China Graphics Society.
    His research interests include information technologies in civil and marine engineering, building information modeling (BIM) and digital disaster prevention and mitigation.

    On August 11th, 2014, Jianguo Nie, the director of the Institute of Coastal Engineering and Structural Safety, met with Professor Feiyu Kang, dean of Tsinghua Shenzhen Graduate School, and Professor Yongjiu Shi, chair of the School of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering of Tsinghua university, in Beijing, to discuss the future orientations and plans for the Institute of Coastal Engineering and Structural Safety.

    Jianguo Nie, the director of the Institute of Coastal Engineering and Structural Safety visited the institute and the campus of Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University on August 1st, 2014 with the accompany of Dr. Sunwei Li, a visiting scholar from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
