    He received both his BE and PhD degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University, China. He was a visiting researcher in Carnegie Mellon University.
    He is now the associate professor in Shenzhen International Graduate School, Tsinghua University, and also the secretary general of the BIM Specialty Committee of the China Graphics Society.
    His research interests include information technologies in civil and marine engineering, building information modeling (BIM) and digital disaster prevention and mitigation.

    As a member of the editorial board, the Journal of Graphics was recently selected for the World Journal Impact Index (WJCI) Report (2020 STM).

    The Journal of Graphic (CN 10-1034/T, International Standard ISSN 2095-302X) is the director of the China Association of Science and Technology and sponsored by the China Graphic Society. It mainly publishes high-quality academic papers on scientific research and teaching in the fields of cartography and related fields in China.It is included WJCJ, CSCD and in the core catalogs of Peking University Chinese.

    The research group has officially launched the recruitment of PHD and master students in 2022.

    There are three requirements for PHD and master students  enrollment: (1) Applicants should have an engineering background and have a strong interest in information technology. Applicants should have obtained a relevant bachelor's or master's degree; (2) Strong technical background, including but not limited to research experiences in BIM/GIS, Internet, digital twin, artificial intelligence, etc. Candidates with research or practical experiences in algorithms, and the development of large-scale software systems or Web/App will be preferred; (3) Highly self-motivated, good written and oral English communication skills, and independent working ability.

    "The Key Technologies and Applications of Super-Large Engineering Virtual Construction based on BIM and Artificial Intelligence" won the second prize of the 2021 Shanghai Society of Civil Engineering Society Science and Technology Progress Award.

    Through the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid reality (MR), knowledge base and other technologies, the project broke through the super-large engineering construction BIM model rapid construction and audit, construction simulation and analysis and other core technologies. The project developed a construction management system that supports the use of BIM on construction sites. The results of the project have been expert appraisal and scientific and technological research to reach the international advanced level. The results have been successfully applied to super-large projects such as Shanghai Disney, Shanghai International Convention and Exhibition Center and Shanghai International Financial Center, and have achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.

    The "National BIM Academic Conference" organized by the BIM specialty Committee of the China Graphics Society has been listed in the "Important Academic Conferences (2021)" by the China Association for Science and Technology for three consecutive years.
